I like the different alert sounds. The first alarm sound was like our doorbell. So it was nice to be able to change the alarm sound. It's much smaller than I expected but that's good. The only problem I had was a substitution giving me two portable receivers/alarms but no plug in the wall receiver/alarm. I'm able to sleep in the other room knowing that when I am needed for help the patient, my husband, can buzz me with the alarm.

This system actually worked quite well for us. However, The instructions are horribly written. The batteries were dead, I advise not including batteries! The buttons to make changes did not work but the default settings and behavior is good. In summary this system worked very well during my wife's recovery from surgery. Bad batteries, instructions as well as non functional customization mini buttons were frustrating at first. Just replace batteries and use it as is should be what the buyer should do.
